The Shortest Distance Between Two Points is a straight line. Featured at Artworks Trenton, a community gallery based in central New Jersey, this was Katelyn Liepins’ third solo show. The artist is experimenting with the element of line and how it can exist beyond the traditional form of a drawing. By using different materials and gathering inspiration from architectural elements of the gallery space and the world around her, Katelyn created multiple large-scale installations as well as smaller representations of these demarcations.
